Who: Dater Montesorri 1st – 4th graders, Newport Primary School 1st – 2nd graders, Where: Hueston Woods near Oxford, OH, a state park famous for its 200 acres of old growth forest. We will be participating in the Queen City Bird Festival, hiking, and participating in a Sand Castle competition by the beach. When: Saturday, May 12. We would like volunteers to arrive at Dater Montesorri at 9am on Saturday morning. We will leave promptly at 9:30am. We plan to return to Dater at 3:30pm. RSVP to sopher@bigsforkids.org.

Known for his ability to write beautiful, lush melodies, Tchaikovsky wrote some of the most popular concert and theatrical music in the classical repertoire. From the pomp and circumstance of a Tsar’s coronation to the high drama of opera to the contemplative nature of church liturgy, his rich harmonies have charmed listeners for more than a century. His famous love theme from Romeo and Juliet is so iconic that it has been used in many popular tv shows—from Sesame Street to Scrubs. Cincinnati Queens Lacrosse Clinic Are you looking for something fun and free to do with your little? Come learn the fastest game on two feet with the Cincinnati Queens, the area's exclusive post-collegiate lacrosse team made up of players and coaches from all over the country! Equipment will be provided for you and your little courtesy of the Queens. Come ready to learn, play and have some fun.
Our matches have been invited to come anytime, except during school hours, from April until frost (usually late October) to pick a bouquet of up to 24 stems of any flower in the gardens, except for sunflowers, at Granny’s Gardens in Loveland, Ohio. Interested matches should email Roberta Paolo at roberta@grannysgardenschool.org before coming for the first time. Directions and a membership card will be sent. We are being given this opportunity free of charge. Be sure to thank Granny and let us know if you take advantage of this opportunity! There are also many times throughout the year when the general community is invited to come in to plant, harvest and for other special activities that are free.
