What is Bowl For Kids’ Sake?

Bowl for Kids' Sake is about having fun to help kids. It is our most important fundraising event. Funds raised go directly toward matching children with carefully-screened, caring Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers.

For more than 40 years, Bowl For Kids’ Sake has supported Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies throughout the country. 20 million dollars is raised, nationwide through this effort.  Bowl for Kids' Sake (BFKS) is a great way to get involved with and support the mission of BBBS.
How does it work?

Big Brothers Big Sisters recruits team captains who put together a team of 4-5 bowlers (including themselves).  Each team consists of a captain and 3-4 team members. Each team member is ask to raise at least $100-$125 (for combined team total of $500) by asking friends and family for donations. Then, each team bowls two free games during a two-hour bowling event with several other teams. It's a fun way to raise money!

We make it easy for each team member to get to their goal. Each team receives its own website. Through your site, they can send out emails to colleagues and friends about their team and their fundraising efforts. Everyone can also donate securely online through that site.

Community bowling events are held in different parts of the Greater Cincinnati area that all of our teams can take part in.

We will also hold private corporate events for businesses that would like to partner with BBBS for their own internal fundraising campaign.  

How to Participate

Become a Company Coordinator!
Start your own team and Recruit Team Captains from your workplace.

Be a Team Captain!
Recruit 3-4 additional bowlers for your team.  Each team member is asked to raise a minimum of $100-$125 for a team total of $500
