Volunteer
There are several ways to get involved:
Be a Big
Brother, Big Sister or Couple
for Kids in our COMMUNITY-BASED MENTORING PROGRAM.
Pick up your Little from his or her home and participate
in fun activities in the community together.
Other specialized Community-Based Programs include:
Amachi targets children who reside in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio between the ages of 7-14 who have an incarcerated parent in a state or federal prison.
Our Hispanic Mentoring Program provides an opportunity
to be matched with an Hispanic child in either our Community-Based
or School-Based programs. Knowledge of spanish is helpful but
not a requirement. Contact Mariella Pesantez, Hispanic Mentoring
Coordinator, at 513-421-4120, ext. 42 or pesantez@bigsforkids.org
Indiana Mentoring Program serves Dearborn, Ohio,
and Ripley Counties in Indiana and Harrison, Ohio. Contact
Laura Rolf at the Indiana office at 812-637-1235, 800-689-0636
or lrolf2412@comcast.net.
Participate in School-Based
Mentoring and help a child during the school day
or after school. We have many programs which take place
in a school or other community location.
Depending on your schedule and availability,
we have just the right mentoring opportunity for you! Thank
you for considering giving the greatest gift—the gift
of your time.
